My sister and I used to build tents in the living room when we were kids, probably because we were too short to construct anything above our beds. Instead we would lay our sleeping bags on the floor, arrange the dining room chairs facing outward in a circle around them, and drape sheets over the back of the chairs, forming a canopy. I think this is what we were aiming for.
